[Magdalen] Quickie prayer request

Brethren and sistren, I need your prayers for today and tomorrow, please. I
am scheduled to undergo both an EGD (endoscopy) and a colonoscopy tomorrow
morning. I am not particularly scared of the procedures as I will not be
mentally present, although I will admit to being a bit nervous about the
latter, having had a large portion of what my daughter refers to as my
"chitlins removed previously. I asked the doctor to request clearance from
my surgeon, however said surgeon has retired and the office informed him
that I am not in their system. I told my doctor's office where else those
records might be found and did not hear back so I assume they got them
from  either my PCP, or my GYN who initially found the condition and
referred me (I know, TMI). Anyway, the prep leading up, dietary-wise, has
been MOST tiresome, also difficult as I have been gluten-free for the past
couple of months in an attempt to deal with some of the problems, and today
I start the real prep. I have a history of not doing at all well with this
part and so I request your prayers for it. At least, TBTG, it is NOT the
terrible and inappropriately y-clept GoLytely. I told the doc if he wanted
me to do that I would most emphatically refuse the entire thing. So I am
asking for prayers that a cause for my esophageal spasms (which are now
mostly controlled by medication) and other pesky problems (am I indeed
celiac or is it our water supply?) may be found and that I tolerate the
prep (especially!) and procedure without incident. And I thank you in
advance.
