I've been hearing Washingtonians claim all day long that the Cathedral
NEVER gets involved in politics, so I have to tell this story.

My friend Heather, now with Jesus, was a quiet, sheltered teenager when she
was arrested at an anti-war protest in D.C. She was in custody, quietly
weeping for fear of her conservative father's wrath, when she looked across
the room to see Dean Sayre standing among the detainees.
