This wonderful Maya site is a real treasure.
 
There is an even larger pyramid nearby, Uxmal (Pronounced ooooshMAL). The stairwayto the top of this structure has very narrow and slippery steps.  I had no soonerreached the top when my tour bus began honking with driver shouting about leaving.Somehow I slid my way down the treacherous staircase just in time to catch thealready moving bus.
