I knew a seminarian once (UCC) who showed up on Sunday in a wheat-colored
cassock alb and a  wheat-colored burlap stole with orange flowers & green
vines embroidered on it.

She said her parishoners decided to give her a pass because she was a woman
so she probably wanted to look pretty.
