At an Episcopal church we attended in Germany, the rector's wife was a Germannational, and her strongly accented English included a pronounced lisp.
This lisp was also present when she spoke German.  The couple had spenttime doing missionary work in South America so they were both fluent inSpanish.  When the wife spoke Spanish she sounded Castillian.
