[Magdalen] Prayers requested

I'm requesting prayers for myself as I am dealing with a couple of medical
and dental problems simultaneously. To begin with, I think my insides are
trying to kill me.....seriously, though, I'm dealing with two GI problems
at once. First off, my IBS has kicked up again, at least I think it may be
my IBS, although we are also looking at having our well tested in case of
bacteria and protozoan infestation. (When my PCP brought that up yesterday
I asked why my S/O hadn't been affected and she asked how big he is...when
I said about twice my size she said, "Well, there you have it!") I didn't
have problems while I was visiting my daughter, besides which we drink
bottled water there because the city water tastes like catfish and chlorine
in the summer. Also, I have recently begun having horrible esophageal
spasms that feel like a 300-lb. person is standing on my chest. I know they
aren't anything cardiac because I've identified a couple of triggers (wine
and ibuprofen) and besides I have GERD already. So I am on more new stuff
for THAT and she's working on a consult with GI guys.

As if that weren't enough, I am grappling with a hellacious toothache
which, of course, started the night before the holiday weekend. My dentist
wasn't available, and I've been really firm about seeing only him, but I
would see ANYONE at this point and I got in to see his partner yesterday.
He turned out to be nearly a twin of mine, so I felt okay with him. He
decided to refer me to an endodontist on the off chance that the tooth
might be cracked all the way down and might need to come out (more
worries!). So in sum, I am really feeling assaulted on all fronts and would
really appreciate prayers. St. Appollonia (for my tooth) and whoever is in
charge of GI stuff may also be invoked!
