I am ashamed to say I've eaten turtle (in the Caribbean).
It's incredible!
Tender white meat, but firm.
Very clean flavor.
More like veal than chicken.
This turtle had been harvested from the ocean.
Have to say, I probably wouldn't catch, kill, and gut a snapping turtle
even if I were starving.
They're dangerous, they're ugly, and they live in filthy ponds.
