I agree, Jay.  The courts will have a final say.

In 2015, TECSC/TEC secured permission from the presiding bishop to make an
offer to the Lawrence church.  We offered all the parish property where
they were squatting in exchange for all diocesan property.  They would not
even present it to their standing committee, many never knew of the offer.
I served on TECSC standing committee then.
