States in the Southeastern US have experienced severe weather this
morning. John and I were awakened early by a tornado warning alert. For
us all was well - the tornado skipped Summerville while touching down in
towns all around us. So far we have reports of 19 deaths across the
storm track, which was a strange one. We are accustomed to such storms
being confined to one or two areas and then disappearing. This storm began
in Hampton County miles from Summerville and continued to carve a path
northward all the way up South Carolina to Georgetown county. These are
mostly inland counties, but there were reports of a tornado along a beach
in Charleston County and all the way through a small town about 30 miles
from us...here doing terrific damage to a small airport. I'm sure
information will be coming in all day as more damage is reported in South
Carolina.

Wilders are fortunate to still have wifi and electricity. This on top of
coronavirus is ....
