Louise, I don't think that I knew you were in Syracuse. I lived there from 1974-1987 and loved it.... have been in Houston suburban area since late '87.

Where in Syracuse do you live.  I was over in the Westvale area (edge, of) near a big city park.

Onondaga County Public Library system (Syracuse et al) also shelves after 72 hours. We can pick up reserves now, too. Staff at one’s pick-up library send an e-mail when your reserved items are available and then you call and make an appointment to get them. A library staff person meets you at the door at the agreed-upon time with the reserved items in a paper bag. Returns go into the after-hours returns bin, and library staff deal with them from there.
