St. John's, Lafayette Square is nowhere near the Washington Cathdral (the Cathedral Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. They're  about 3.3 miles away from each other

St. John's is very close to the White House.

I just saw a comment from Bishop Buddy of the Diocese of Washington. A fire was set in the basement of the church, which is right across from the National Cathedral. It sounds like it’s under control.
