"Spring has sprung."

Some of the bearded irises planted in my garden by my Uncle Adolphyears ago, are now blooming here at the edge of the Pennsylvania Poconos.

He disliked the Adolph name, and, instead, preferred his two nick-names,"Utz" (also the name of a large snack food company in the Eastern USA,and "Ruksa" (a common Norwegian nick-name)


He was a large, powerful man, and the proverbial handiman that servedhim well in his work as an engineer.at Superior Lidgerwood - Mundy Corporation

In the spring, however, he was all bearded irises.  Smart man.
