I’m in Virginia, and our Governor just issued a stay-at-home order yesterday.
But what I wanted to tell you, Michael, was that, in addition to two online Sunday services—so far—I’ve been alternating Evening Prayer and Compline every evening around 6:00 pm live on the church’s FaceBook page. And a few of us are going to start doing daily Morning Prayer together, using Zoom.
If you can’t do services in person, maybe something like this would be an alternative.

If we go out, we are not allowed to be with more than one other person (keeping 6 feet apart) unless with someone resident with us. Churches are closed for all purposes - no services, no private prayer - even funerals can only take place in a crematorium or a burial ground with only close family and all kept apart. I have now be housebound for two weeks with my only outings two short shopping trips. As I live alone, I have not been in company in that time. My only conversations have been either by email or telephone. As an over 70 I am not be allowed to officiate at any service except at home alone or online.
