[Magdalen] Perennial Memorial Day Tale.

The proprietor of one of the 5 general stores on my home town'smain street was Commandant of the local American Legion thatsponsored a little Mamorial Day parade from the school block to the
village cemetery.  The high school marching band provided a littlemarching music for the marching rag-tag Legion members, mostof whom could barely get into their old Military uniforms.

Upon entering the cemetery, said Commandant issued a strong"Halt!" order, which promptly blew his dentures out of his mouthand they clattered on the pavement.

That was a hard act to follow.
