Surgery lasted 12 hours, ending at 1:30 this morning. Surgeon said it had been complicated because the tumor was encapsulating major blood vessels. He called at 2:00 and said she was waking up and would be going to the ICU. I’m going down in a little while; I came home about 8:30 last night. I spoke with her nurse a little while ago, and she said she’s more alert this morning.
