[Magdalen] Tax question

My tax returns are done except for one item.

I have a small business doing music lessons and composing music. In early
Mar, had an appointment with my dermatologist. On my way home (was only c.
1/2 mi from the house) a young lady driving behind me got distracted and
rear-ended our car. Ended up a total loss.

The question has to do with gain/loss and the appropriate depreciation for
same. Insurance paid about 6K. Net gain is $327.

How do I come up with the allowed/allowable depreciation for the gain/loss?

Thought we might have someone who knew something about all this.
