[Magdalen] Big Changes

Like many of you who are still hanging out in this little cyber pub I'm
getting older and my wife in particular is less independent. We came to the
conclusion a while back that we needed both to downsize and to get into a
safer living situation. Accordingly, after looking at a lot of options in
our general area we settled on a 55+ community that we felt would be a good
fit for us. We engaged some professional help not only for the actual move
but also packing and removal of things we weren't bringing with us. The
process was still hellish as I'm sure you can all imagine. In any event the
following are true statements:

We moved into our new apartment one week ago today.
We sold our former house yesterday after 30 years there.
We changed my driver's license and Lisa's ID non-driver today.
It's starting to feel like home here.
If any of you had (or just want) my snail mail address please message me
privately and I will gladly share it. I'm still in the Philadelphia metro
area just a little farther out from the city if any of you find yourselves
coming this way. I do cherish staying in touch with my friends, but I
haven't posted this on Facebook yet because it's just too darn public.
