*I’m deeply sad to announce that my mom lost her battle with cancer Friday
evening . I was with her as she passed peacefully in her sleep. *
*My brother and I were blessed to have such a wonderful person giving us
guidance and love through the years, as were many of her friends. She will
be sorely missed by all who loved her, family and friends alike.*
*We attempted to reach out to as many of her friends as possible to inform
them personally, but unfortunately could not find up to date contact
information for many of them. I apologize if we missed anyone who deserved
a phone call.*
*Due to COVID concerns we will not be doing a traditional funeral, instead
we will accept all those who wish to come by her old house, now being cared
for (along with her lovely cat Josie) by me and my wife, to pay their
respects and say goodbye. Feel free to reach out to me to arrange a visit.*
*As per her wishes, her ashes will be buried under a sapling in the back
yard once the ground thaws.*
*My deepest sympathy to all those who feel the pain of this loss. I hope
you take solace in knowing that she was aware that she was loved and cared
for through her last days.*
