On the subject of plane crashes, many of you may not have heard about the
tragic crash of a small plane (a Learjet) less than a minute after takeoff
from Northeast Philadelphia Airport on Friday evening. It was a medical
transport taking a young girl and her mother home to Mexico after the girl
received lifesaving treatment. Two pilots, a doctor, and a paramedic
perished on the plane along with the girl and her mother. The plane came
down in a crowded neighborhood and numerous buildings and cars were
impacted. One confirmed death on the ground and many taken to hospitals.
