We are living in interesting times here on the other side of the bigger
pond. Sydney Diocese is by far the largest in Australia ( latest
figures-2016- Sunday attendance 37.6%, clergy 28% of total Anglicans in Oz)
so it would be a big change. Whether the Trumpian association with women in
headship (lack of) will have any bearing or not remains to be seen.
Australia in general does*not* like Trumpism. The federal election last May
saw a landslide victory for Labor. Many conservatives lost safe seats.
