[Magdalen] decline of this list

I'm here as well (in Minnesota- still an Orthodox Christian but
"temperamentally Anglican" :-)), and these emails show up for me in Gmail's
"Forums" category.

I do miss the old lists, but I don't tend to use email for group
conversations anymore (except in limited circumstances for making plans,
etc) because it's so awkward for extended threads. I tend to use email
mainly for work or for church business (I send a weekly email bulletin to a
large mailing list.)

Many years ago someone wanted to start a Magdalen Facebook group, but that
idea was not well received. For all of Facebook's faults, however, its
private groups *are* good for conversation ...

So good to hear all your voices!
