Too Late . .

The former New York State Theater has already renamed for David H Koch a couple
of years ago as the result of a hefty donation for remodeling. It's home to the
NYC Ballet and formerly the NYC Opera Company (despite their narrative of being
simple (rich) Midwesterners, the Koch Bros. apparently spend most of their time
in NYC)..

How so? Unlike Detroit, NYC has always had a very diverse economic base. Heck in
1960 there were more garment workers in NYC than Detroit had auto workers. With
the evaporation of the garment industry in NYC, Detroit now has more
autoworkers than NYC ha garment workers! Hasn’t helped Detroit -- and NYC's
economy continues to grow (despite the BS about NY being the land of taxes
driving people away).
