[Magdalen] iPhone 5 update to ios8 info?

just now reading... did some online research that turned up your advice last 
night before you posted and I could not turn it off... nor did I think I 
could even access the battery, so it is still in it's 97% status and I guess 
I'm heading to T-Mobile and possibly the mall in a few hours : (

My great hope is that my phone is ok, and that I've not lost data or 
photos... it has become a container for much of my data for business and 
'mom stuff'...
