Last year, Roger "did" Chicago to a good extent, although there is
always much more to see, and I'd love it if we could get you into the
Sunday Solemn Mass somehow, Roger, at least as priest-in-choir but
perhaps preacher. I think last time you explored the 'L' (including
the Skokie Swift) and maybe Metra train systems. There's the railroad
museum, which I haven't visited but looks wonderful: vintage trains
and streetcars that move on tracks once again (although not where they
used to run, of course). And tons more.

They're just starting to renovate the worst 'L' station of all
(Wilson) and it'll be stupendous when finished...wonder if it'll be
done by then. The one near church (Clark/Division) is half done and
very convenient...you just emerge from the south-facing La Salle exit
and walk a block, right into the Elm Street door of the narthex. Handy
for rainy Wednesdays when I serve for Evening Prayer and Mass.
