[Magdalen] Prayer request

It reminded me of a doctor I once went to in TN who was the working partner
in her family. Her husband had apparently put her through medical school
and then "retired" to pursue his dream as a photographer. People I knew
began to relate things about them, such as the way he spoke to her in
public. I stopped going to her after awhile and I forget why now, but not
long after that she appeared at work with a broken arm and a big bruise on
her face. There were whispers that her husband had done it. I heard several
months later that she had finally left him. I hope that was true. I was in
a brief marriage with an emotionally abusive first husband and I can say
from experience that it doesn't take much for that to escalate to physical
abuse.
