I sense they might want us to be familiar with the rota before lent starts.
What with Advent, Epiphany and all the noise and confusion, there might not
be enough time immediately before Lent to get eh information out to
everyone at a time when they are able to take all of this incredibly
momentous information in, and accord it the meditation for which it is
essential.  After all, The Brackets are the reason for the season (Lent).

I think they love to poke fun at tradition, and just figured being WAAYYY
ahead of the curve was one more way of being tongue in cheek.  Oh those
pesky characters at Forward Movement.  Who knew such austere folks had such
a wild side?  Still waters run deep, but in this case, we're talking
hundreds of fathoms...
