I can spend an hour just looking at a good Michelin highway map of
Germany; or France; or California; or Pennsylania......etc.
 
My ex-wife was hopeless in reading maps, so I had to be good at it in  self
defense when we lived in Germany.  A good way of solving this  situation
would have been for me to do the map reading and for her to drive.
 
Of course she didn't want to drive either.
