[Magdalen] Advent is coming!

I'll always think back during Advent to the passing of Paul Manz,  saintly
Lutheran layman, musician, and composer of my favorite Advent anthem,
"E'en So Lord Jesus Quickly Come".
 
He died quietly, surrounded by friends and family, and for them and  his
larger world wide choral family, never was the phrase "Lord Jesus  Quickly
Come" more poignant.  His beloved wife had preceded him, and it  was
obvious to all that he was overjoyed at the prospect of uniting with  her
on the other side.
 
I think the manner of his passing was as convincing as anything I've
experienced for evidence of afterlife in the Heavenly City.
