[Magdalen] snow

Oh, how I miss my Magdalen friends! For some reason I can't receive your
mail, so this was a blessing. I'm loving this snow -- but can't guarantee
how I'll feel in March or April. We did, in fact, get only about 6 inches,
but we've had news on all day. Sadly, we lost 7 people to this storm. But
here in the city, it's beautiful, and since I'm semi-retired, I can mostly
just stay in. I did attend a yoga class today (about a mile away) and then
went to K-Mart to get warm gloves. My thin leather ones (tres elegant, but
unlined) and the little fingerless ones I love, were perfectly adequate for
Tennessee, but no match for Buffalo. So I got lined suede and a real pair
of "ski gloves" for outdoor work. And this weekend is forecast in the 50s
-- go figure! Love you all, love Buffalo. I wish I had the time to tell
you about the sweet and amazing parish I serve 2 days a week, and my wild
and crazy 12-step spirituality service on Thursday night at Trinity,
Buffalo -- my old pre-ordination home parish! So lovely! And my dog and
Cheryl's cat are fast friends -- go figure. We both had incredible fears
about this, but it's better than we ever imagined. New camping trailer
down on the rez, too. Lots happening here. Thank you SO MUCH for thinking
of me - I miss you so!
