I always assume it'd be hard to get away with cheating because of the
machine's scale that "knows" what each item should weigh and the
monitoring by the human person behind the little desk, but of course
that person is sometimes busy, gone, or distracted, and as you said,
the machine can't "know" if a wrong code is being used fraudulently.
