Amen, Raewynne.  I took some courses at Queen's Theological College before it folded its tents, and I can assure anyone that "y'all come on over for Morning Prayer" wouldn't have worked because the students were already so busy -- and QTS, as a United Church seminary, didn't have as great a need for liturgical workouts as an Episcopalian or Anglican school would have.  In fact, our own clergy (now largely Wycliffe College grads) often haven't had good liturgical (or pastoral!) formation.

Also, any use of the word "whining" automatically puts my back up.
