It pours.

I am surrounded by people, including myself, who have bad diagnoses or are
waiting to see if they have a bad diagnosis.

Brother in Law - blood infection and unhealed incision from abdominal
surgery this past June.

Sister-in-Law - probably kidney cancer, identified on CT for something else

Uncle - agressive bladder cancer

First cousin - pancreatic cancer and drug addiction, post leg amputation
for atheroscherosis

Friend - successful lung surgery this morning to remove lower rt. lobe...a
benign, bizarre growth in lung due to congenital condition she never knew
she had.

Friend - prostate cancer

Friend - will have yet another facial surgery due to a galloping form of
basal cell carcinoma.  She has had something like 30 previous surgeries
over the years I've known her...

Myself - had ultrasound of breast that had cancer, lumpectomy, and
radiation.  The note says that there is an area of the breast they want to
recheck in 5 months to make sure it is 'normal'....now 5 months is an
eternity for a person who tends toward anxiety.

I think that is all.
