Did I miss something?  Did you have a pre-nup?
 
Otherwise most states are on a 50-50 basis.  Maybe where you
are that's not the case.
 
My lawyer said that unless both parties in a divorce feel as though 
they have been "taken to the cleaners" it's not a good divorce  settlement.
 
Been there/done that.
 
My sympathies, and this too will pass.
