Yes, I do, David. When I see views from Hubble like, say, the Horsehead
Nebula, I feel as cold and empty as those "infinite spaces."

In my heretic moments (I guess), I think maybe God is a God of Earth, and
arose from
Earth as we did. Wasn't Teilhard de Chardin sort of hinting at that?

I love ST TNG, by the way.
