One sentence alone jumped out at me, and maybe, possibly, in the end cause the most unrest?:

Regarding homosexual persons:  "Are our communities capable of providing [a welcoming home], accepting and valuing their sexual orientation, without compromising Catholic doctrine on the family and matrimony?"

"Valuing ... [homosexual] orientation"?  Valuing???  Ye gods.
