[Magdalen] wildlife and not-so-wildlife report

Speaking of the birdie café, S/O has obtained something called "Flaming
Squirrel" that is intended to discourage said beasties from poaching the
feeder. It is added to the seed and apparently the birds don't notice it at
all but squirrels do, and don't enjoy it in the least, although it does not
harm them, being made solely of habanero oil. The picture on the label is
amusing, showing a squirrel with flames erupting from its ears and mouth.
We shall see how it works. You may have to enlarge the picture.
