Marvelous Eucharist this morning at St. John’s in West Kaua`i.  A small but enthusiastic congregation.  It’s not the first time I’ve been there, but the first time without Marcy.  Many remembered us and asked about her.  We prayed for her during the PoP.

During the announcements, one young woman gave an account of a meeting yesterday of representatives of all four churches on Kaua`i, and searching for ways to become more connected.  One item was the founding of a chapter of Daughters of the King.  I encouraged them for that, telling the young woman that Marcy is a Daughter (sometime treasurer of Province IV of DoK), and my Grandmother was a charter Daughter.

A good visit.
