Yes, unless they chose to leave the Commonwealth.  The Queen would still 
be Head of State, as she is in her "realms and dominions beyond the 
seas".  These include Australia, New Zealand Canada as well as a number 
of Caribbean islands.

Probably not.  Having their own Head of State would be yet another 
expense for them to bear - without all the pomp and ceremony that 
attracts tourists to London.
