Sometimes when a British actor adopts an American accent, the result
sounds Canadian to me. A little clipped and not loose-mouthed enough
for casual American. Dawn French is an example, unless she's
exaggerating and going for a "redneck" countryfied accent. She's
hilarious in any accent. :)
