Reformation uses the red book. I knew the green book, but I could still
never get the hang of the service music. The only thing I know is "This is
the Feast of Victory for Our God." The rest of it is, IMO, damnably
unsingable!
My SIL Jennifer was raised Minnesota Norwegian Lutheran and went to St.
Olaf. When she married my brother she started attending the Episcopal
church, and both of their kids are baptized, confirmed, and observant
(still, in their 20s!) Episcopalians. Jennifer has been backup organist
for most of the churches they've attended. However, she's never felt the
necessity to formally join TEC, particularly since CCM. I see her point,
and feel the same way about ELCA.
