I do my best to give Tipper the reassuring attention she enjoyed before,
albeit always on her terms. She was a rescue cat herself and had
kittens when she was found. There is still shyness and strong survival
responses to noises or strangers at the door, so I know this has been
traumatic for her. But, boy, she was looking like and being a mean
black devil for days..

She caught another mouse last evening and earlier today, when she and
Archie appeared to be playing a form of hide and seek with the bureau ,
I did hope that he wasn't being stalked as today's mouse! But it seems not.
