Had a friend who took up real estate in retirement and he said
every time he showed a house to a straight couple, they
would walk into the kitchen, look around, and the woman
would exclaim, "This kitchen's gotta go."

On visiting my first apartment, my mother rearranged the
contents of the kitchen cabinets!
