Well, Jim, when a lesbian priest friend of mine died, several of her more irreverent friends introduced me to another altered line in that hymn: "One was a doctor and one was a queen, and one was a lesbian named Irene."

When we came to that line at her funeral, I sneaked a look around, and saw that several folks were singing that version!
