Thank you all! The trip was uneventful with no murder or mayhem, and the driver didn't get drowsy once, even on the solitary trip home!
A bonus was getting to share a visit and a leisurely early dinner with my best friend from high school, who lives near Dulles. That meant I could wait out the worst part of the rush hour traffic before starting home.
