This year at St. Andrew's, Florence, we are rejoicing because the
Easter Vigil will include the first singing of the Gloria from the St.
Andrew's Mass, written by one of our musicians, Mary Ann Eagle. I am
so looking forward to it. I finally finished my vigil homily (our
assisting priest is preaching at the Festival Eucharist) and the
deacon will sing the Exsultet--although I would like to give it a try
next year. We are ready, and all is prepared for the Vigil fire. Time
to go home, have an early supper, and go early to bed. 4 A.M. comes
early, even here on the Pacific Coast.
Blessings for all,
