She tried a radio ministry -- it was a big flop. Her personality that so many 
found attractive on the screen simply did not translate.

Some of the broadcast ministries on radio lasted through the children because 
they re-ran their Dad's sermons with different music and begging wrapped around. 
Others simply went away -- A.A. Allen and Carl McIntyre for example, though the 
latter's Bible Presbyterian Church has survived because he  did a lot of 
evangelization in Korea. He was one of the few who were every excommunicated by 
the United Presbyterian Church <g>.

Some of Allen's antics were shown in "Marjoe."
