Mark K and I were roomies in the Savoy Suites, IIRC, a healthy hike down
Wisconsin Ave. from the cathedral and from Diana's apartment. We did a bit
of nightlife the night before the institution service, were promised a ride
"home" from someone at a bar, and were taken instead across the Potomac to
an apartment in Arlington, where we watched MTV for hours until the host
called a cab for us at daybreak. We got nearly zero sleep but made it in
time to get seats in St. Mary's Chapel. Such adventures.
