GE has at least a dozen coil-burner models.

I agree about the smooth-top ranges. There's one in Florida and I
hate it. One year it had cracked (before we got there, and I didn't
even notice it, and was surprised one morning by two repair guys
who installed a new one. Have no idea what that cost.)
