[Magdalen] How do you buy a stove?

Lynn, you may have just hit on something, and that may also be the reason
for the popularity of stainless steel appliances (another PIA to clean,
especially in hard water areas!) and granite countertops.....which are,
fortunately, losing popularity, or so I hear.
