The original Spam meat product was from Hormel Foods in Austin, MN. 
It was served in place of more expensive ham or bacon during
the WW-2 years.  My mother was very fond of Spam.
 
So am I.
 
They now have a whole series of flavored Spam, especially into the
hot (peppery) area.
 
Yum!
 
If it's from an Upper Midwestern farm, it must be good.
